Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Presient Labs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Presient Labs provides AI-powered optimization of prompt engineering skills ("Skills"). We use automated evaluation pipelines to measure and improve skill performance. Results are provided with cryptographically verifiable reports.

3. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any Skills you submit for optimization. Presient Labs does not claim ownership of your content. Optimized versions are yours to use, distribute, and sell as you see fit.

4. Performance Guarantee & Refund Policy

Guarantee. Every custom skill optimization is backed by our performance guarantee. If the optimized skill does not achieve a measurable improvement of at least 10 percentage points AND a win rate of at least 60% under blind evaluation by independent AI judges, you are entitled to a full refund of the optimization fee.

How we measure. Improvement is determined by blind pairwise evaluation. Independent AI judges compare the original skill against the optimized version without knowing which is which. Results are recorded with SHA-256 checksums on all artifacts for tamper-evident verification. You receive a full report card with the evaluation results regardless of outcome.

Automatic refunds. When an optimization does not meet the guarantee threshold, refunds are issued automatically via Stripe to your original payment method. No dispute or request is required.

Manual refund requests. If you believe an optimization did not meet the guarantee and a refund was not automatically issued, contact support@presientlabs.com within 30 days of delivery. We will review the evaluation data and issue a refund if the threshold was not met.

What the guarantee covers. The guarantee applies to custom skill optimizations purchased as single optimizations ($25) or as part of a skill pack ($99 for 5). Each skill in a pack is evaluated independently.

What the guarantee does not cover. Pre-optimized catalog skills (skills we have already optimized and published with benchmark results) are sold as-is with published evaluation data. Free skills are provided without guarantee. The Research Lab subscription ($9/month) is a recurring service and is not subject to the performance guarantee — it may be cancelled at any time.

5. Pricing & Subscriptions

One-time purchases. Single skill optimizations ($25) and skill packs ($99 for 5) are one-time payments processed through Stripe. You retain permanent access to all delivered artifacts.

Research Lab subscription. The Research Lab ($9/month) is a recurring subscription that provides ongoing benefits including re-optimization of owned skills, access to new Presient-made skills, and priority queue. The Research Lab requires at least one prior optimization or catalog skill purchase. You may cancel at any time through your dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Catalog skills. Pre-optimized skills from our catalog are sold individually at listed prices. Purchase grants permanent access to the skill bundle including all platform formats and the optimization report.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to submit malicious content, or to attempt to reverse-engineer the optimization pipeline. Accounts may be suspended for violations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Presient Labs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding any claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
